RF Integrated Corporation (RFIC), founded in 2000 in Irvine , U.S.A. , is a company who pioneers in proprietary RF ICs design and manufacturing for wireless communication applications such as WLANs, cellular, PCS mobile handsets and base stations. In March, 2001, RFIC completed its fundraising and launched the product development in RF IC designs. Same year, RFIC's Asia-Pacific operation site with a well-equipped R&D center was also established in Taiwan .
The direction of RFIC is to create unique design and cost-effective packages and promote them quickly to the market, and the long-term goal of the company will be becoming top provider of Radio Frequency IC solution for communication applications worldwide. After years of effort at technology development and product advocacy, RFIC has formed strong business alliance and partnership with many key players of wafer foundries, packaging/testing houses, and system houses in a global basis. To further propel the market development in China , in Q4 2004, RFIC opened a branch office in Beijing as the China R&D and marketing coordinating center. This effort will soon help combine the development resources from Taiwan and China , and enable RFIC to speed up the market and product integration in South Asia .
Based on advanced GaAS HBT, PHEMT and RF CMOS technologies, RFIC has focused on the development of wireless communication devices and circuits. Currently, RFIC has introduced a full line of power amplifiers for WLAN 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth applications as well as the new product lines for CDMA, GSM/GPRS, PHS handset and optical fiber communication components. Meanwhile, a dedicated, strategy-oriented sales and marketing team had been rooted to bring every customer the right products of the best value.
